Production Title: Behind the story:london riots
|
Brief: Documentary on teenagers and how they are portrayed by the media, also by interviewing teens to find out their opinions on the London riots in 2011. The positive and negative behaviors on this.

Aim: Getting the teenagers opinions on why they are being represented from the media and if the stereotypes have been increasing since the London riots and if so, why? Reasons why the media are specifically attracting the teenagers as their main headlines nowadays.

Description of your intentions:
-Introduction on what the teens want to become e.g. doctor, teacher, nurse etc. a fast montage of this in the start.
- Make it appeal on BBC3 so has to be related back to the audiences who are teenagers as it can be show how they are being represented to be negative in the media’s eyes. Due to being shown on BBC3 it has to make sure that it will be informing the audience and educating them.
-Voice over will also be used as it enables the viewers to understand what is going on as the voice over explains more about the topic.
-Captions to inform the audience where this seen is taking place and who is speaking.
-Use of several camera shots and angles as it gives the audience a feel of what is happening as close up shows expressions on individuals and how they are feeling. Direct mode of address so the audience feels like they are getting involved in the conversation as they are looking straight at the camera.

Target Audience:
Aimed at teenagers from both genders as it will be focused on youths.
Targeted at 16-25 years old (demographics)
